THE JOURNEY OF EVOLVING PROCESS
My journey as an artist began when I was a teenager who fell in love with pop culture. Naturally the things I fell in love with crossed over into my art creations like The Beatles, The Phantom of the Opera, The Crow, Xena, KD Lang and David Bowie just to name a few. It was after meeting Lucy Lawless at this years Fan Expo in Toronto that reignited my passions for Xena (not that it ever faded but now is stronger than ever) and I’ve gone full on into these new creations of what Xena means to me.

Coming this November 2018 a special online Exhibit featuring the Xena inspired digital paintings and a presentation by Claudia Korpanoff will launch so come join in the celebration! Battle On!
Claudia Korpanoff is a Toronto based multi disciplined visual artist. Painting being the main vehicle of creation, Korpanoff incorporates many different mediums. Some examples are earth, hair, found objects, plaster body casting and photography. Over the course of her career her subject matter has been a personal reflection of her life experience. Some issues addressed have been death, love, sexuality, abuse, gender and social issues.
